TME hosts annual flagship MQCAP 2026 in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Nov 1 (ABC): The Millennium Education Group hosted its annual flagship Millennium Qualification, Curriculum & Assessment Programme (MQCAP) 2026 under the theme “ELEVATE – Leadership for Impact” at Future World School, DHA Phase 5, Islamabad.

The event brought together 170 academic leaders from across Pakistan to promote educational excellence, innovation and effective school leadership.

The gathering included principals, school heads and academic coordinators from The Millennium Education Group’s nationwide network. Participants engaged in professional learning, strategic discussions and collaborative activities aimed at strengthening educational leadership and improving teaching and learning outcomes.

Organised by the Millennium Institute of Professional Development (MIPD), a department of The Millennium Education Group, MQCAP serves as a platform for advancing academic excellence, curriculum innovation, assessment practices, educational technology and institutional capacity building.

The initiative reflects the leadership of Dr Faisal Mushtaq, Chairman and CEO of The Millennium Education Group, whose vision emphasises educational excellence, innovation and future-ready learning.

His approach focuses on empowering academic leaders, strengthening professional accountability and fostering a culture of continuous institutional improvement.

Organised under the academic direction of Ms Amna Salik, MQCAP 2026 provided an opportunity for academic leaders to exchange ideas, explore emerging educational practices and translate institutional objectives into practical improvements in classrooms and schools.

Focus on curriculum planning and academic leadership

A central focus of MQCAP 2026 was strengthening academic leadership through effective curriculum planning, learner-centred teaching, differentiated instruction and measurable learning outcomes.

Participants explored strategies to improve instructional effectiveness, encourage professional collaboration and maintain consistent academic standards across The Millennium Education Group’s institutions nationwide.

The programme also highlighted the importance of diagnostic, formative and summative assessments, academic quality assurance, constructive feedback and data-driven decision-making.

Discussions emphasised that assessments should not only measure student achievement but also help identify learning gaps, improve teaching practices and address individual learning needs.

Educational technology and teacher development highlighted

Recognising the growing role of technology in education, MQCAP 2026 explored digital learning platforms, Google for Education tools and innovative approaches to integrating technology into classrooms.

The sessions highlighted the importance of aligning digital transformation with teaching objectives to improve student engagement, creativity, collaboration and inclusive learning experiences.

Professional development was another major focus of the programme.

Discussions covered internationally recognised professional qualifications, mentoring, reflective teaching practices and collaborative learning communities.

Participants also examined how sustained investment in teacher development and leadership skills could strengthen educational institutions and improve student outcomes.

Reflecting the theme “ELEVATE – Leadership for Impact,” the programme encouraged academic leaders to translate professional learning into practical action.

Through guided reflection and collaborative discussions, participants identified priorities for improving teaching, assessment, professional collaboration and institutional performance within their respective schools.

The Millennium Education Group reaffirmed its commitment to developing progressive, inclusive and future-ready learning environments through continued investment in educational leadership and professional development.
