For FY2025-26, the number of trainees has reached 76,525 so far, showing continued progress in vocational education and skills development initiatives.

Skills development programme supports employment opportunities

The madrassah training initiative focuses on integrating students into the mainstream economy by providing industry-oriented and market-relevant skills.

Officials believe the programme can improve employment prospects and encourage self-employment among young people.

The initiative also supports the government’s broader efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s skilled workforce and address unemployment through practical and industry-focused training programmes.
