KARACHI , July 5, 2023: Renowned artist Wasim Ansari, whose claim to fame was his art of parody of former President Pervez Musharraf has passed away in Karachi.
Wasim Ansari’s son, Kashan Ansari, said that his father was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. Waseem had gone to pay utility bills when he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but he could not be revived.
According to Kashan, his father’s funeral prayer was offered at Mariam Masjid Nauman Grand City in Gulsitan-e-Johar area. After the Maghrib prayer, he was laid to rest in a local cemetery.
