ISLAMABAD, Nov 22(ABC): PTI General Secretary Asad Umar Tuesday said the only way out of the chaos prevailing in the country was elections.

Talking to journalists in the federal capital, the PTI leader said that had the government focused on addressing the problems of the masses, the economy would not have been in the doldrums.

“PTI Chairman Imran Khan stands steadfast despite getting shot,” Umar said.

Saying that Rawalpindi was set to witness history’s largest political protest, Umar said Khan’s stage would be set up in Faizabad, while consultation had been completed in this regard.

“A tent town will be pitched in Faizabad on Friday morning and protesters from all parts of the country would join the camp,” Umar said.

He said the nation could not be subdued by blindly subjecting it to brute force and [state] terror.

To a question said if Khan decided against the November 26 sit-in, the workers would be called off the protest.

Amid fears that Khan was still a target of another assassination attempt, strict protection arrangements were being put in place; however, Khan did not want to be separated from his cohorts by layers of security.
