ISLAMABAD, June 23 (ABC): Expressing his deep condolences over the deadliest Earthquake in Afghanistan, Chairman of KBM Care Foundation Khalid bin Majeed said that it was shocking to learn about the tragic loss of precious human lives due to devastating earthquake that struck Khost and Paktika provinces of Afghanistan.

At this tragic and painful moment, I extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved and affected families.

While expressing solidarity and assuring support to the people of Afghanistan, Khalid bin Majeed said “I look forward to an immediate response of regional and global community to help Afghan nation recover from the tragedy”.

He said at this hour of need, KBM CARE will mobilize all its resources to help Afghan brethren and we are preparing a relief consignment/cash donation with a special focus to cater the needs of the children affected by the deadliest earthquake.

He said that KBM CARE Director Azmat Hanif is in coordination with the concerned authorities and looking after the possible help to meet the needs of the affected children and soon a consignment or cash donation will be handed over to the Afghan authorities as soon as possible.
