LAHORE (ABC): WAPDA won 71st National Body Building Championship securing 142 points with 7 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze medals. The Championship concluded the other day at Lahore.
Gul Nawaz of WAPDA was declared Mr. Pakistan, while Kishwar Ali of WAPDA clinched the title of Master Pakistan.
Army remained runners up with 78 points winning 3 Gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals while Railways got 3rd position in the Championship with 13 points and winning 1 gold medal.
The three-day Championship was held under the aegis of Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation. As many as 10 teams participated in the Championship including WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Railways, Poilce, Higher Education Commission, Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.
