Web Desk, July 3, 2023: Amir Khan, a British-Pakistani boxer, claimed that an Asian bridal model tried “blackmailing” him and “sold” her tale to a British newspaper after he refused to pay her £20,000.
Khan retaliated after Asian bridal model Sumaira accused him of cheating on his British-Pakistani wife Faryal Makhdoom.
Khan, who resides in Dubai with his wife and three children, said Sumaira had erased a number of messages and only sent a small sample to The Sun, which published the original report in which the model accused the boxer of being unfaithful.
The boxer said Sumaira started approaching him on social media and informed him that she disliked her family and was avoiding them. The boxer claimed that he asked her about her tattoos and whether her faith approved of them.
The boxer claimed that Sumaira began emailing her intimate photos and then talked about wanting to undergo augmentation procedures. Khan claimed that she didn’t request any images and that the model’s actions weren’t very impressive.
Over the “I can’t stop looking” comments, the boxer said that did that because she asked him to in order to make her happy and to give her a compliment.
The boxer disclosed that Sumaira subsequently demanded £20,000 from him. The model informed the boxer that she wanted it to “fix her hand as one of her hands is bigger due to some problem and she always hides it” when the fighter inquired why.
He said “The reason she went to the paper was I didn’t want to give her money. Her story about her family disowning her did upset me but I knew she’s on the money thing and is a liar. I stopped messaging her.”
