PESHAWAR , May 19, 2023: One person was killed and 22 others were injured in a blast caused by a hand grenade thrown at the police officials near Marwat Market on Bannu Road in Tank.
DPO Waqar Ahmad said an exchange of fire between the police and the attackers is underway near civil line, in which one attacker was injured, who has been arrested.
Police have surrounded the area and started a search operation. All the injured have been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, he said.
