KARACHI , APril 3, 2023: The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has collected Rs19.034 billion in March this year as compared to Rs14.888bn it collected during March 2022, posting over a 28 per cent growth.

Official statistics available with Dunya News show that the Board collected Rs128.2bn in the first nine months (July-March) of the current fiscal year (FY23) against collection of Rs104.8bn in the corresponding period of FY22, posting a 22pc growth.

The SRB — a premier sales tax on services collection agency in Sindh — has been assigned the annual tax collection target of Rs180 billion for FY23.

The Board has to achieve revenue target despite recent devastating floods in Sindh, import restrictions and the country’s grim economic outlook.
