Nov 9(ABC): YouTube is planning to roll out a new feature that will allow select creators to go live with another guest creator on YouTube.
The Creator Inside Channel will only be available to co-stream using a phone, and not a desktop.
While guests can be rotated on Livestream, only one is allowed at a single time. In the upcoming weeks, some creators will be able to use this feature and go Live together, their stream feed showing above their guests while live.
To start a live stream, creators will be expected to fill in the information regarding the title, description, monetization settings, thumbnails, and visibility settings. After selecting a creator for the “Invite a co-streamer” option, guests will only have to click on the invite link to be sent into the waiting room.
TikTok recently introduced a similar Live feature on their platform, letting creators go live with up to five people. Twitch released the feature as well, letting creators go Live with multiple fans at the same time.
