PPP reject snap-election, support govt in difficult time: Yousaf Gilani

KARACHI, 18 July (ABC): Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to support Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and rejected once again the demand of snap election. Yousaf Raza Gilani and Sharjeel Memon told on Monday in Press conference after PPP central executive committee meeting.

They said Parliament will complete the tenure and the allies will decide together the future plan. Yousaf Raza Gilani, the former prime minister told that the overall political situation was discussed in the meeting. He said PTI has won only 15 out of 20 seat of their own which means they has lost their own five seats.

He commended the election campaign of PML(N) and said they were supporting them in all constituencies. Transparent election was held on all the 20 seats, he maintained.

Later on, Information minister Sharjeel Memon told that the CEC decided to join the allies meeting which will be held on Tuesday. He said further said that Imran Khan mad Election commission controversial, and now they should apologize to Mr.X and Mr.Y. Tomorrow meeting in Lahore will discuss the election reforms and we will join, he maintained.
